Glenwillow Fur Farm is a photography and visual art project that explores the intersection of the rural and urban, the interpenetration of humanity and natural space, and the processes of renewal and decay. Our thematic interests incorporate both traditional bucolic scenery and what might be called neo-pastoral spaces: agrarian and natural landscapes disrupted by technology, ruin and obsolescence. We exist in the blurred space between idyllic/idealized portrayals of rural life and the gothic tenors of its dark histories.
